If you are interested in this position please submit your resume at The Scrap Yard.
When you sign up for a class/event think of it this way -
You have reserved (paid for) the use of a fancy wingback chair at an elaborate dinner party. The money that you paid will be used to hire a fabulous chef, fly in fresh lobster from the Maritimes, pay the auxillary staff to ready the venue, chop the veggies, polish the silver, press the linens etc. It’s the night of the soiree and you are expected. If you don’t show up (or cancel) your chair will be vacant – it puts a damper on the dinner party – a vacant chair that someone else was dying to have! So my thinking is, to make it a successful dinner party, you have an option to send someone in your place or take your meal in a doggie bag (a kit).
Summary:
- Classes are payable in full at time of sign-up.
- Classes are non-refundable – you will receive a the kit if you miss the class.
- You can send a friend to take the class if you can’t make it.
- Advance notice is appreciated if you can’t make the class, so we can kit it.
